About
Asha Jane, is a soulful voice writing stories to tell. Her material masks subjects of innocence and experience in poetry, mythology and the arts. Asha takes influences from an eclectic palette including the likes of Etta James, Bjork and Living Color. With her head in a notebook in the clouds, her songs are a gateway to what goes on in that often otherwise vacant stare. In 2019 she joined the Forté Project's 10 acts and has continued to collaborate with a range of artists from around the UK, especially the Cardiff group “Ladies Of Rage”, who she is a prominent member of, ending up supporting Kae Tempest in Cardiff’s Tramshed venue.
