“During 2017/18 I was fortunate to mentor Christian Punter. Together with Forté we helped shape Christian’s ‘Post’ project. The project centres around him living in an old post office in Ferndale. Christian has reached out to his local community through the good old fashioned Royal Mail postal service. With the replies he’s written songs documenting this industrial town with a rich heritage. I found working with Christian hugely inspirational. This is an artist with a talent and a vision. Throughout the project we managed to pull together fantastic opportunities for Forte artists including supporting Public Service Broadcasting and performing at London’s iconic Natural History Museum. I wish Christian all the very best for the future and I eagerly await to see him progress in his music career.”
